C.B. Peter Morgan
C.B. Peter Morgan, D.Min., M.Div. Dr. Morgan is a native of Jamaica. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. A former Senior Education Officer in the Ministry of Education, he was responsible for developing training modules for Guidance Counselors in collaboration with the University of North Carolina (Cullowwe), and for implementing progammes in all secondary schools in Jamaica, through special USAID funding. He obtained a Masters degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky as preparation for entry into the pastoral ministry and for Church leadership. The major interest of his study was in the field of pastoral care and counseling psychology. His Doctoral Ministries Degree from the Oral Roberts University in Tulsa was pursued with a practical focus on defining the mission and role of the church in the modern third world context. Dr. Morgan is the Co- Founder of Deeper Life Ministries and is one of the fathers of the Charismatic (Church Renewal) movement in Jamaica. He is a Founding Director and currently, a vice-President of the International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA) in Nassau, Bahamas. His ministry has taken him to England, Africa, Canada, U.S.A. and throughout the Caribbean. He is committed to being a Member of the Jamaica Association of Evangelicals; he is also the Secretary General of Word of Life Ministries, an NGO with consultative status with the UN (HQ in Jamaica) and the National Representative in Track and Field Sports. Dr. Morgan is the author of “The Nations: God’s Strategic Purpose for Establishing your Nation”, and “The City Church – A Personal Pilgrimage.” He is married to Dr. Patricia Morgan (Educational Psychologist) who ministers along with him. Together they have one daughter and three sons, all of whom are in the ministry as well. They are also proud grandparents of three children.
