Paratan Balloo, DPhil, MBA  Dr. Balloo is the Vice Chancellor and CEO of OASIS. He was appointed to this position in 2004 and is committed to fulfilling the mission of the University in preparing students as social change agents.

He has spent a significant part of his career in the financial industry. He has led several organizations in their strategic planning exercises and efforts as well as being directly involved in strategic alliances within the industry. At present Dr. Balloo heads another business founded by him which is one of the more successful players in the financial services. His formal background is predominantly in business at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Having completed his MBA, Dr. Balloo then read for his doctorate which he completed in 2004.
